Get ready to cook at Cooking With Class! A complete schedule of classes and demonstrations is planned to challenge and inspire cooks of all ages.
Cooking With Class is located in the City Plaza Shopping Center on University Drive in Mishawaka, IN. Classes are continuously being added, so be sure to continue visiting our website for an up-to-date listing!

Guest Chef Classes
Guest Chef Classes include chef-supplied recipes, step-by-step instructions, and generous sampling. All classes are interactive and those noted with an "H" are hands-on. Seating for demonstration-style classes is limited to 24 students; hands-on classes are limited to 12 students to allow for more one-on-one interaction. Adult classes are typically held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on weekday evenings. Weekday classes are typically held from 11:00am to 1:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. The fee typically begins at $35 for demonstration classes and $40 for hands-on and depends on the menu being prepared. Cooking for Couples
Looking for a little creativity and spice in your love life? Look no further than the kitchen - the Cooking With Class kitchen, that is! Indulge in an evening that will stir up more than just delicious dishes for you and your lover. Your culinary date will surely to be a night to remember. Couples will help to prepare a complete dinner and dessert menu as they learn to divide the tasks to make entertaining a pleasant way to spend time together in the kitchen. Classes are held on Fridays or Saturdays from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. The fee starts at $100 per couple and depends on the menu being prepared. This class DOES include a full meal for two people. Teen Cuisine
Teen Cuisine: Teenagers will learn to be comfortable in the kitchen and gain useful culinary skills. Hands-on classes will focus on diverse menus, techniques and creative presentations. Cooking for Kids
Cooking for Kids: Kids in the Kitchen children's classes are typically held on Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Kids, ages 8-12, eat what they make in exciting new classes geared to teach the basics of kitchen safety, nutrition, and cooking techniques, while cooking with a variety of ingredients. Class size is limited to 12 children per class. Early reservations are encouraged. The fee is $25.00 per child per class. Parent/Child Classes
Parent/Child Classes: Children, ages 5-13, and parents bond in the kitchen while exploring menus and techniques the can easily be repeated at home. Space is limited; early reservations are encouraged. Classes are held on Saturdays. A typical class fee is $20 per person. Registration Information
Methods
Cooking With Class offers four different methods to register for classes.
- You can sign up and pay for your classes online here at our website. Simply find the class that you are interested in and follow the "Register for this class!" Link to our online registration system.
- You can sign up by faxing or mailing our printed form (PDF format).
- You may also easily register over the phone by calling (574)243-COOK (2665).
- You can register in person at our store location.
All classes are to be paid for in advance. Reservations will not be guaranteed until payment is received.
Cancellation Policy
Seats in classes are sold on the same basis as those for cultural events and other one-time performances. Please mark your calendar carefully since all classes are non-refundable. Cooking With Class is not responsible for missed classes. Please send someone in your place if you are unable to attend class. ”No shows" will not receive refund or credit. We make no exceptions to this policy. Those classes with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled prior to their starting date. Therefore, early enrollment is desirable. If Cooking With Class cancels a class for any reason, we will notify you as soon as that decision is made and fully refund your registration fees; but if we hold a class, no refund will be given. Cooking With Class reserves the right to cancel cooking classes if enrollment is insufficient. Thank you for understanding.

Liability
Cooking With Class will not be held liable for any loss, injury or damage to students or their property, due to any act, neglect or omission by the school, its agents or employees. Cooking With Class reserves the right under unavoidable circumstances or adverse weather conditions to alter the timing or content of any course and to substitute any teacher at any time.
